Travel Girl Gift Guide

Hello Darlings,

For the second instalment of my wish list series this year I wanted to cook something up for the travel girlies. This doesn't necessarily mean you have to be hopping on a plane every few weeks to head off to Europe. The items on this wish list could just as easily be used by someone driving back and fourth from college to their parents' house or from their apartment to their partners. Whether you are Bella Hadid or your average Jane we all have one thing in common - our skincare needs a cute little bag to go into.

Here are some of my ideas for your own wish list, or to gift the travel girl in your life. I have tried to give you a variety in terms of budget, so click around the images to see which suits your needs the best.

Makeup Bags

Skincare, makeup, pills and potions - they all need somewhere compact to live on your travels. This was a gift that I received last year and has been the most useful thing I own for the past year. As someone that just recently graduated Uni, I would also have a plethora of products to lug back and forth from my Uni apartment to my parents house on the weekends. I have a fabric top handle one like this moon nude floral gal and I love how it fits everything I could possibly need. Since its fabric and has some give, I can usually cram my skincare, toothbrush, makeup, a full-sized fragrance, and a travel hairbrush in it.

As a gift for someone else, I think buying a cosmetic bag and filling it with some of someones regularly re-purchased products is not only thoughtful, but an extremely useful present. Tap the images for links!

Passport Covers

Admittedly one of the chicest accessories on the planet is a leather passport case. I cannot explain it, nor will I try to understand it. This is the law. Bonus points if its either croc leather or a deep gem-stone kind of colour. Perfect 10 if its both. Here are some of my picks for you to check out.

Eye Cream

For anyone who travels a lot, it can be exhausting. Time changes, long drives, and early wakeup calls can start to take a toll on the travel girly's beauty sleep. That's why an eye cream is a great little addition to any travel girl gift, or is maybe just a nice way to treat yourself.

Weekender Bag

One of the most essential possessions for the travel girl is her weekender bag. I know the Beis one was quite popular last year, but I've heard from quite a few people that it was quite uncomfortable. Thus, I haven't included it in the list.

Boy do I wish I had one of these for trips travelling between my boyfriends house and mine. I think the last duffle bag I owned was from Pink in the 6th grade and I insisted on using it instead of a backpack. I should've known back then that this is what I was born to do. Luggage

For those that do the heavy duty travelling, luggage is naturally the first gift that someone would think of.I myself have never had pretty luggage - but I aspire to. My current favourite style is the silver hard casing kind of luggage with ribbing. I have provided a couple examples of those as well as some chic green options.

Face Mask

Similar to the eye cream, a hydrating face mask is always a great gift for the girl who travels. We all know the Summer Fridays Jet Lag is the classic airplane face mask, so I have provided a few alternatives to that here (as well as the og).
